The project members and internationally renowned scholars jointly carried out 4 transnational cooperation projects. The first project is the NCTU-IIT Delhi bilateral research project, “Ministry of Education-Promotion of International Cooperation and International Talent Cultivation Project,” that we cooperate with Professor Swades De and co-direct the Ph.D. student, Ashutosh Balakrishnan, to perform related research. The projects, "European Horizon 2020" and "Ministry of Science and Technology AI Program", are to implement a UAV IoT platform and develop a long-distance broadband communication system suitable for drones. In the last project, “The Postdoctoral Research Abroad Program, Ministry of Science and Technology,” is to exchange visits between The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National Chiao Tung University with The Department of Bioengineering and the Institute of Neural Computing of the University of California-San Diego (UCSD). At the same time, we sent doctoral students to conduct long-term offsite research and used the strengths of the two laboratories to receive physiological signals generated by the interaction between drones and users. Data analysis, cross-domain research combining machine learning and Brain-computer Interface, and joint research and development of human-computer intelligent interaction systems.
