Multiple Top-Notch Information-Domain Scholars Awarded in Annual Meeting of Institute of Information & Computing Machinery

The Institute of Information & Computing Machinery (IICM) held an annual meeting on 24th April at the Administrative Office in Taipei of National Dong Hwa University (NDHU). The meeting is hosted by Josh Chao, the President of the IICM and the Principle of NDHU. In the meeting, Chao and Chi-Chao Wan, the Secretary-general of K. T. Li Foundation Development of Science and Technology, jointly issue several 2021 awards that symbolize top-notch talents in the information domain, including IICM Best Paper Award, IICM Medal of Honor, K.T. Li Fellow Award, K. T. Li Breakthrough Award, K. T. Li Cornerstone Award, K. T. Li Young Researcher Award.

 

The purpose of the K.T. Li Fellow Award is to praise industrial or academic elites that have outstanding contributions to information-related disciplines of engineering, science, management, education, etc., with significant impacts on the academy. This year''''s award is given to Prof. Li-Chun Wang in the Department of Electrons and Electrical Engineering, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, and the Principle Huan-Chao Keh of Tamkang University.
